Advanced Drivers

Three young drivers have successfully passed the Institute of Advanced Motorists’ (IAM) Advanced Driving test to lead the way to responsible driving among Pendle’s young people.

I am delighted that Barrowford Parish Council has used Pendle Safety Committee money to sign-up local young people to take the IAM Advanced Driving Course.

I am backing the Lancashire Telegraph’s “Wasted Lives” campaign to cut the needless slaughter of young drivers on East Lancashire’s roads.
 
Earlier this year I was awarded the Parliamentary National Campaigner of the Year Award from the road safety charity, BRAKE for my work in campaigning to stop the carnage on UK roads.
