Pendle MP, Gordon Prentice, will be at Pendle Vale College tomorrow (Friday 1 May) to hear how pupils are urging world leaders to fulfil their education pledge for the world’s children. The target of educating the 75 million children out of school in the world by the year 2015 was set in 2000. Under the theme “Send My Friend to School”, pupils will be reading letters and poems they have written for the Prime Minister. The MP will then have a tour of the new campus. Date Friday 1 May |
