MP for Pendle, Gordon Prentice, has welcomed the publication of a new booklet outlining what government help is available for people and businesses in Pendle.

The MP said “The downturn is having a serious impact on individuals, families and businesses.  Many are finding they need help but aren’t clear where to turn.  Putting information about sources of help in one location makes them easier to access and also lets people know about extra support that has recently been announced or will be coming on stream.”

“Individuals can find help with homes, jobs and finances and for businesses there is a package of support measures designed to improve access to credit and help in managing finances."
